The Black Jaguar Music Company founder, Cat Ellington, is the primary songwriter behind five original songs that appear on Dual Mania (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the soundtrack to the multi-award-winning psychological thriller "Dual Mania." Ellington wrote five songs for the feature film soundtrack, four of which she composed as a sole songwriter, including "The Book of Us" (performed by Jaki Cavins), "I'm Still in Love"(performed by Jaki Cavins), "Something in Your Eyes" (performed by Jaki Cavins), and the award-winning "I Do" (performed by Jaki Cavins), which was the recipient of the 2019 Vegas Movie Awards award for Best Song. The fifth track, the first release from the Heavy Metal collection of the Cat Ellington Song Catalog, "Gett Out" (performed by DeCarlo Jackson of Hippo Campus fame), was co-written by Ellington and her husband, "Dual Mania" writer, executive producer, and director Joseph Strickland.

The debut EP, composed by Cat Ellington and Joseph Strickland and produced by Princeton Brown and Greg Schutte, is the classical counterpart to Dual Mania (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Instrumentals: Music from the Motion Picture Dual Mania. The five instrumentals that feature on this album are the same that appeared with vocals on the soundtrack: "I Do (Instrumental)" (Cat Ellington), "The Book of Us (Instrumental)" (Cat Ellington), "I'm Still in Love (Instrumental)" (Cat Ellington), "Something in Your Eyes (Instrumental)" (Cat Ellington), and "Gett Out (Instrumental)" (Cat Ellington, Joseph Strickland).
